WIP Limit

How to set and change WIP limit for rows and how it works on Kanban board.

In this section, you will learn how to change WIP limit of rows and how this feature works around the Kanban board.

Work-In-Progress (WIP) limits help prevent teams from taking on too many tasks at once, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. By capping the number of tasks in a row, WIP limits encourage focus, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity.

If you want to change the WIP limit, click "Limit WIP" in the header section.

Next, a new window should appear where you can choose to either set WIP limit for a column or a row. You can also set new WIP limit (default: unlimited).

To confirm change click "Ustaw limit". If you wish to cancel click "Anuluj" or X button.

When setting WIP limits for rows, ensure they align with the capacity of your team or project. Setting a reasonable WIP limit helps prevent overwhelm, encourages focus on completing tasks, and ensures that no row gets overloaded, keeping your workflow smooth and efficient. 🚀
